This N-scale SP P-8 / P-10 locomotive shell is a high-resolution resin replica based on post-war Southern Pacific P-class locomotives, designed to drop onto the Broadway Limited Imports (BLI) USRA 4-6-2 Pacific mechanism with minimal effort. These shells are intended for builders who want a prototype-correct Southern Pacific appearance without compromising detail, proportion, or fit.
Available in multiple historically inspired configurations, including skyline-cased boiler variants and optional tenders.

Available Configurations
Locomotive Shell Options
Choose from the following variants:
•    P-8 / P-10 with standard domes
•    P-10 with skyline casing
o    Choice of:
    Simple steps, or
    Semi-streamlined smokebox stair arrangement
While modeled from postwar P-8 / P-10 practice, the standard dome version can also reasonably stand in for P-7, P-8, P-9, or early P-10 classes with appropriate paint and detailing.

Tender Truck Recommendations

•    Bachmann 3-axle Commonwealth trucks (from their large Vanderbilt tenders)
•    Acceptable close alternatives:
o    Kato UP auxiliary tender trucks
o    ScaleTrains turbine tender trucks
FLW tender trucks are in development and will be offered when production-ready.

•    Some light cleanup may be required:
