A cornerstone of Southern Pacific passenger operations from the early 20th century through the transition era, SP’s iconic Harriman cars handled baggage, mail, express service, and passengers across nearly every division of the railroad. From heavyweight mainline trains to secondary locals, these cars were as common as they were hardworking.
This N scale kit series faithfully recreates three closely related—but operationally distinct—Southern Pacific prototypes, all sharing the iconic 60-foot Harriman-era steel carbody while differing in doors, windows, interior purpose, and service life.

General Model Features (All Variants)
•    High-resolution 3D-printed resin, designed from prototype drawings and photographic reference
•    Two-piece construction
o    One-piece carbody
o    Separate Roof for simplified painting and detailing
•    Correct SP truck configurations
o    Supplied with either 2-axle or 3-axle trucks, depending on prototype
o    Designed for 0.540" axle length, 36" wheelsets (MTL standard)

•    Scale-correct doors, rivet patterns, and roof details specific to each class
•    Ideal for transition-era (1920s–1950s) consists, with earlier and later applicability depending on class

🔹 60-B-1 thru 9 — Baggage Cars
SP’s early all-steel baggage cars, introduced beginning in 1907 alongside the railroad’s first steel passenger equipment. Many were built at SP’s Sacramento General Shops and saw system-wide service for decades.
Dedicated baggage and express service; common on mainline trains and heavier locals into the 1940s–50s.
